My Project Description: JADGPANTHER SdKfz 173::: Using the DML kit # 6012, Cavalier Zimmerit for said kit, Eduard PE set. Construction started with the lower chassis. I removed and painted the wheels. I then mixed up some celluclay for addition of built up Mud on the lower Hull and Suspension. While this was drying I ground off all the molded details on the rear plate, and the sides of the upper hull, to install the Cavalier Zimmerit sheets. (after working with this material I will use more in the future projects, GREAT STUFF) The Zimmerit was installed and then the, rear engine deck parts were glued on. I then started to install the various tool brackets, and track racks. All hatches were installed closed, as there is no interior and difficult to see even if there were. After these items dried, a base coat of Dunklegelb Modelmaster paint was sprayed on the lower hull, and the areas of completion. I then assembled the main gun parts and prepaired them for installation to the front plate..I will install various PE detail parts next, then another base color coat. This is an easy Vehicle to build and has progressed quite rapidly based on the fact there isnt much to really build.
