Anyone have any more info on the new Trumpeter 1/35th kits of the USMC LAV-25 and the CH-47 Chinook?
Both sound awesome and are in desparate need of improvement or, in the case of the Chinook, addition to the 1/35th scale.
Thanks to PMMS for the updated info.

It would be reallycool if Trumpeter, took the LAV series and went Stryker with them.

I'm glad I saw the announcement of their planned KV-1 series a few weeks ago. I was just about to start hoarding parts to merge Tamiya and Eastern Express kits like Cookie Sewell did in Military Modelling a while back.

Trumpeter is actually a VERY difficult company to do a news story on. Both Terry (of P.M.M.S) and myself, posted the news of the forthcoming Trump releases, back in december - https://armorama.kitmaker.net/news/848 ...Unlike DRAGON, who believe in the power of the 'net as a means of publicizing their products...
What Terry has actually managed to get, is release dates - something the rest of us have been trying to get hold of for a while.
So Randy, the information has been available for months now.....Jim

I'm just grateful that there are some modern kits coming out after numerous releases of German WWII kits. Looks like the LAV kit has the newer type tires. Hopefully, no resin wheels are necessary...

I would love the Maz537 (hoop it's cheaper then the resinmodel in tamiya's may edition, that was $300)
And I really want that SAM-6 .
It's good to see some new russian armor getting made.
