Hi all,

here are some pics of my finished dio ' The Road To Bastogne' .
As i sayed earlier this is my 1st dio, but i'm sure it won't be my last one.
The allied forces fight a very heavy battle against the germans on all fronts but out there in the ardennes almost at the end of war they were not only fighting against the germans but also the extreme cold winter was a strong enemy,i liked this campaign very much (maybe thats the reason that i had three entry's in it)
Comments are welcome

That is one awesome dio Eric. The vehicles look fantastic. The figures are very well executed. Beautiful ground work.
One thing that caught my eyes, are the lack of snow on the tracks/wheels of the tank and halftrack. I would asume a vehicle driving through all that snow would get snow on the tracks and wheels. Besides that, you have made a fantastic dio.

In my own personal opinion, the only thing that lacks in this dio is a little snow on top of the vehicles, which is very easy to do. Just sprinkle a snow product or baking soda.

Other than that, this is a fantastic dio. I can actually feel the cold. In my dios, I do not usually put too much snow for fear in covering the details. But the huge amount of your dio's snow makes the details stand out! Amazing! How did you do that?

Everything is very beautiful and well built. I can't think of any criticsm except the lack of snow on the vehicles.

I think it is possible. I've learned it in high school physics (or was it a brain-candy site) that the movement of water in a fast moving river creates friction which prevents the river from freezing.

Something to that extent...

Don't you just hate it when people show real life photos and not their models?
You have done a fantastic job on this dio. Great work.

What kit is the M3 from, I want one!
