Hey looks cool.
Is this the Tamiya kit? I like your weathering looks very dirty.
Is it going in a dio?

its the all-time classic italeri kit.its going for a dio with 2 or 3 figures of the tristar dak panzer crew.
yes i like the dirty is more realistic specially in dak service.

OIa George
Well I have to say you are on a brilliant track here and the Panzer yellow ,looks really used and the dirty look is exactly the way I like vehicles. You especially did a good job on the sand that got stuck in the corners of the vehicle great job on that. One thing I notice is that you have to paint the jackblock in a wood color and the belt that is holding it in place in a leatherbrown or even black or Khaki. the Buckle of course in a metal color. Further all the tools need to be painted (handles in woodcolor other parts metallic.)
You coould add some chips as that was quite common with DAK vehicles. Also run a pencil over the dges of the vehicle this gives you a very realistic metal shine where the paint rubbed off by crew walking over it or tentbags and other accessories that were hung onto the vehicle.
Very good job can`t wait to see the finished result and am looking forward to the dio

looks pretty good to me though I would think about adding some different colors on the mounted tools...

Looking good so far George.
Lots of good advise from Faust. Can't add anything to that.

George, nice start so far. Others have already mentioned the tools, etc. I would try and vary your paint shades as it looks very monochromatic to me at this point. Fade some areas here, darken others. Some paint chipping here and there as well, but don't go overboard. Subtlety is the key when doing htis. Good luck with the rest of the build. "Q"
