This is Dragons 3-in-1 kit. It went together fairly well, although i do not like the fit of the magic tracks, needs a bit more work on them to get them to sit properly.
The paint is Tamiya acrylics, the inner colour of the hatches is Xtracolours german interior colour. The rust on the exhausts is my frst attempt at using pigments and acrylic resin. The mud on the tracks and the front of the Tiger was made using Mr Surfacer 1000,Tamiya Flat Earth, static grass and several washes of Winsor and Newton Burnt Umbar. The mud on the wheels was made in the same way as the tracks, and again i applied several washes.
All helpful comments welcome

I think it looks great. Can you give a little detail on your rust procedure for the exhausts?

Thanks for your comments Cary. Basically the exhausts were first painted in extracolour "Exhaust", then i textured them with Mig "Rust" pigments, then added some darker patches with Tamiya Hull Red and added some base colour to give depth.
Then i sprayed on two coats of Humbrol Dull coat, when that was dry i washed the whole exhaust system in Burnt Umbor, the Winsor and Newton brand.

Hi
I must say the first thing that caught my eye is the mud, it looks really good!
But just 3 pictures will not do your tank justice!

I'm kind of surprised about your troubles with the Magic Tracks, I mean there is some clean up required, like the little bits of flash, but mine were a dream to put together... Oh well though, it really is a nice looking Tiger and I do love that mud you did on it...

thanks for your comments guys, i appreciate the time you took.
RC, the problem i had with the magic tracks was compounded by the decision to make the suspesion "active". That really caused me no end of problems and is something i will not do again. I have a second tiger underway and i am goign ot glue the suspension arms in situ this time. Will have another go with the magic tracks and see how i get on.......i guess i am just spoilt by having almost exclusivly used Fruilmodel tracks in the past.
