Most impressive. I am humbled by the work of a master craftsman. All of the elements are great. The models, figures, groundwork and storie lines blend together to make magic.

Kudos Mr. Sharp, this is the kind of intricate, attention to detail, labor of love that inspires would be modelers and awes us already in the craft.

Very nice dio's, but there are a few that are very much inspired by Verlinden (which btw is no problem)

Wonderful. Always nice to see old Tamiya figures still worthy a place on a dio. Very good job. And inspiring too

Back in the 80s when I became infatuated with building armour it was very basic and still in the model car mode of doing things,along comes the odd diorama from Verlinden,I sought out his books and my days of learning began. Verlinden quickly became my
military vehicle and diorama mentor and I studied every
one of his works,his control of detail,his control of groundcover and lastly his ability to tie it all together in a finish that was so pleasing to the eye I new I had to
master his style. Along the way I learned a few things on my own which does happen. Yes I still do alot of Verlinden works as refresher builds if you will,to challenge my skills to this day,guess I will always do so from time to time.A master,no,I learned from one!!

No problem Kelly,a build is never a lost cause,you make it work,yes my canal bridge is still intact and will become reality one day,lol!

I feel very privelleged to have seen some of Russ's work in real life when I visited Victoria a couple of years ago - believe me guys the pics pale beside the real thing.
A good diorama will keep the viewer interested for ages looking at tiny details, and Russ's larger pieces are great examples of this art.

I did not meant it as a attack on you, not at all, I just said that I saw where you get your inspiration from but you made it your own, great build, a lot of detail and great composition

As Danny has mentioned I have already submitted another new piece and have just completed "the bridgehead",pics have yet to be taken. At the request of a few friends I am starting my
Dragon 3in1 Tiger kit,it will be in a dio as well.
