Howdy all. TIA for your response. What optic or device is located under the small cover that looks like a pitched roof on the top right rear of the gun mantlet of the Leo2A5? On the Tamiya kit there is nothing inside. If there is something inside could you direct me to a place that I could view an image at? Maybe it is a bird house. Out here.

I believe it houses a camera, to film the impact of the projectiles.

That cover houses a back-up optical sight for the main gun. I can't seem to find any good pictures of the sight online or in any books but it is likely that the lense is all that is visible in the deep recess of the armoured cover.

Mike, If you need any other detail pics of Leo, drop me a line - I have quite a collection. Not possible to send you everything, but just name the part you are interested in and most likely I have it on a pic!

Howdy all. "Tanks" for the quick responses. Especially Pawel for posting that picture. I will definetely take you up on your offer when I hit an unknown item again. That is exactly what I needed. Now I need to fab something to put in there. And thanks to Dan I now know where the Gunners Auxiliary Sight is. Back to the workbench! Out here.
