Doug Chaltry, the founder and webmaster of the 1/72 scale site, "On the Way" has announce his retirement and will turn over the site to someone who has been working with him for quite some time. Thankfully this means that the "go to" place for 1/72 scale armor info will remain online.

I hit the site daily and am constantly using his information to research which kits are good and which ones I should pass up.

I offer many thanks to you, Sabot, for turning me onto this fantastic web site. It's incredible resource! Any Braille Scalers who haven't visited should definitely check it out.

Doug did an excellent job on that site!

Like you, i refered to that site before getting 1/72 kits. That site also kind of got me going in the 1/72 scale.

Great site and happy that it is still going!

Hope Doug will finally get some time to build all of those kits he acquired.
Will miss him on the site.
Hopefully Simon will do a great job.

I also use the site daily. It was the reason I got interrested in 1/72nd scale. I still mainly do 1/35th but love to do some 72nd stuff for a change of pace.

I consider it to be one of the best modeling sites period.

Look forward to maybe seeing more of his builds now that he has more time to build.
