Never had to use Testors Dullcoat before, but today I did and it did not work, still glossy. I tried to airbrush it but for some reason it was too thick, and when I hand brushed it, did not work.

suggestions please
thanks

Shain,
You have to thin it and put on at least two light coats. DO NOT try and brush it as it will just strip the paint off. I swear by the stuff and have nver had a problem (knock on wood). Thin the Dullcote with Laquer thinner for the best results. I have used normal paint thinner in a pinch though. Good luck.
Cheers,
Bryan

You can also try running a hair dryer on low heat over your model prior to applying the flat, warm up the model a little bit and spray the flat coat and voila a dead flat finish.

I did find out that it stripped the paint, so I didnt do it in some spots, didn't realize you'd have to thin that stuff. So 2 light coats will do? thanks guys
