This is my campaign entry forthe Mud, sweat and gears campaign. A figure will be added later, so Ive not used pastels yet as some further handling will be needed later. All comments and critic are welcome.

Frank,
It looks great. Very good paint & weathering so far. Is that the old Peerless max/Nitto kit. If so is the front Blade part of the kit or is that your addition? Todd

Rotor, I have the Nitto Kit and the blade comes with it. However if you are planning on building the Nitto one you need new tracks as the one supplied are completely wrong. I believe you want M-41 tracks.. 2 sets will cover it. AFV Club makes Indies for the M-41

Plastic, That kits looks oustanding, especially for the way the kit looks like in the box. How much of the kit is origional and how much did you scratch or Kit/Bash? I am looking forward to seeing it with a figure added. Keep up the oustanding work.

Nice one Frank. I really like all the detail you put in to it. The weathering on the M8A1 is great and also on the cargo inside. It would be nice to see a Verlinden figure or two but its still great by itself.

Thanks Guys for ther nice comments.
Its a "Bluetank" kit, which I believe to be a copy of Nitto´s.
I replaced the tracks with AFV Club´s indy tracks. If you use the vinyl type, you need 1.25 lengths per side. With indys, 1 box will do, but there are not enough pads to fully complete the run on the bottom .. not needed here. So the price remains the same. (I bought 2 sets of indys thinking both were needed, but not so ... if anybody is looking for a set ,.... contact me I have a set for trade) I painted and weathered the tracks first... which are excellent and real working tracks ... and then superglued the vinyl pads to them. A filter or two over ties them in nicely and no difficult painting here. Probably the best indy tracks Ive ever used.
I also used Airwaves PE, which is pretty useless. A sheet of grill PE and scratch the other little items will look lots better.
I replaced the nylon thread for the lift at the back with junk-jewellry chains, which added a lot.
The rest is OOB.
Im sure AFV Clubs running gear set, would have been a great improvement again, but 2 sets would be needed to cover the extra wheel, which would end up being very expensive. The sprocket needs some re-shaping to fit the AFV tracks, so maybe even a tamiya M41 for spare parts would be an improvement.
The base is a picture frame built up with styrofoam, andthe plants are plastic or aquarium plants.
This is the figure for the vehicle in progress! Its Legends Vietnam US tanker. I´ll add him in when finished.

Thanks again guys!!
