Hey, I don't know the proper term for this, so I couldn't look it up... it has probably been asked thousands of times to death
So, since I paint brushed my camo scheme on.... the paint looks really glossy... so how do I seal off the paint? Do I use a dullcote? I have it, but I don't know if it acts like a mat varnish... can anyone here help me?
And should I paint the dullcote on? I also have some future, but it'll just make it even more glossy... I think I read that never paint on the dullcote or any varnish as it will lift the paint off the model?
Also, after I seal off the paint, do I put the decals on first or do I apply a wash before I put decals on? And when I apply the decals, do I reseal the whole model or just the area where I applied the decal?
I'd appreciate it if anyone can answer my questions, thank you :-)

First off...welcome to the site. You'll find lots of kindred spirits here, and you'll do fine as long as you remember that the only "dumb" question is the one you haven't asked. There is a wealth of knowledge here and people willing to share it with you.
Once your paint is on, cover it with future or similar, add decals, another coat of future, wash/weather, use dull coat (I use model master #1960 flat lacquer). then use pastels if you so desire.
