Last week I posted some pics of a T-55 that I had spotted behind the Staffordshire Regiment Museum near Lichfield on a couple of message boards.

It seemed to create of lot of interest, the consensus seems to be that it’s a Polish or Czech hull with a Russian turret. However, it also has a 105mm gun, and various odd features point to it possibly being an ex-Israeli Tiran-5.

So, I have now posted the rest of the pictures, this time showing the details such as lights, engine deck, fuel tank plumbing and so on.

As my original intention was simply to use them to detail my own model, these may only cause further confusion

Feel free to add to the debate.

I think it's a Tiran made to look like a T-55 again.
You can still see the .30 stikking out next to the main gun.
But thats my opinion

Howdy Paul. I have found your pictures to be of help verifying the fender fuel cell and turret details on my in progress T-55 pig. "Tanks" again. Out here.
