I’m starting a WWII Dio of US army infantry moving past a small bombed brick building in a town. The problem is I don’t know where or when. I’ve been doing a search on the web but hade no success so I came here.
The idea is to make the building out of red brick but most of the colored pictures I’ve found show gray bricks.
I could make the wall a deferent color but I have the paint for a red one.
I don’t know if it would help any but the infantry men are also in a combination of M1941 and M1943 uniforms.
If any knows of a town that would work pleas let me know. And if you could let me know when the town was invaded that would also help.
Thanks.

Jabob,
Pretty broad question but I can offer a few tips. Just about every town and city in France and southern Germany from Normandy to the Elbe River was walked through by either US or British troops at some point.
Unless you plan on putting up road signs or something that would specifically identify the town, just a generic "town" would be okay.
If you want more specific information about city names and dates, hit the link below and click on the links to the maps. One of my favorite sites.
Hope this helps,
Shaun

Thanks for the link.
It should be a big help.
I’m thinking of putting a plate on the front of it that lists the town and date.
It will probably take place during the takeover of the town or within a few days after.
