Here are some shots of the Accurate Armor M1070/M1000 Super HET that I am building for a customer. It is a great kit. My first all-resin kit, I am very impressed. I thought iyt was going to be a bear, but it wasn't at all. It is well engineered and goes together easy. I love it. It is huge as well and full of detail.
Edit: See here for pics.

Wow, that is one big model....seems to capture the true size of the Super HET well.
Make sure you show us the finished product and good luck on the rest,
Eddie

Looks like that resin beast is coming together fine. A nice 'busy' model with plenty of detail. Are there any fit/warpage problems with the larger castings? And what about a payload, or will the deck be empty?
Cheers

Wow... looks very good so far.
You are lucky, as most of us can not afford a kit that size...are you going to make any alterations? And indeed, will it carry a payload or not?
Good luck and have fun with it,
Harm

Howdy Gino,
To begin, your Super HET is looking great so far. And as you've already said, the people at AA have really produced a superb kit with this one. But as DutchBird pointed out, it is indeed an expensive one as well. So, please don't let the cost of the kit make your hands tremble.....OK?
As one of the fortunate people {read; crazy enough to spend half a mortgage payment} to have purchased this kit, I am going to enjoy looking over your shoulder during your build up.
I will be taking copious mental notes........
To finish, I will also have the ability to vent some guilt about not having already built the bloody thing!
Keep us informed Gino, I'm sure this'll be a 'doozy'.
Tread.
Oh, and would you please answer the question about what you're planning to place piggyback on this thing?
EDIT: Of course.....that massive flatbed makes for quite the blank palate......does it not?

Thanks all. It is a great kit, no warpage or any other problems, only a couple of broken parts in the bags that were easy to fix. No modifications needed either. All I have done was turn the wheels on the truck and trailer, which the kit is made to do. As to a load, nope, the buyer wants it left empty. I would put an Abrams or a Bradley on if it were mine, but it is not. I am having fun with it. Next will be painting the cab interior and detailing it out. The kit comes with a full inerior to include PE seat belts and other small details for the cab. It is coming along and I'll post some more pics later.

Ya know Gino, you should throw an Abrams on there when it's done just for the picture. The truck is awesome and the temporary Abrams will give us a sense of context. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge

I can easily do that. May take a couple pics with a few diferent vehicles just to see how they look on it. Thanks for the idea.

That is a monster of a kit, I think you should place a single soldier on the flat just to show the immense size of this vehicle. Nice job by the way, I am sure it makes for an easier comission when the model is a joy to put together.

Robert
