Well, heres a new update on the LRFKA"PP" or: the Land Rover formally known as "Pink Panther.

Headlights!
Being a Model Railroader, the temptation to wire up my 1/35th trucks is overwhelming sometimes and with my electronics skills improving, I have an easier time doing so every time. I threw some grain of rice lamps on my Land Rover and just had to show you guys.

I painted the rollbar too. :-)

I love my hobbies!

Hey Gino, as I understand it, the figure has some headlights of her own!

Yeah, Thanks.
I still have to put some metal foil for reflection purposes and figure out where to run the wires and hide the two 9v Batteries. (I'm thinking a small shack) But, on the whole, it should work out.

Some one did something similar to this at the IPMS contest I went to last March in Indy. It caught everyone's eye.
I like it.

it takes 9v batteries? how about under the seats disguised as tool boxes?, and run the wires along the transmission hump under floormats of a sort.

i am checking into it, but maybe the paint used on mirrors to repair them?

just a thot......

Dat's Right! My name is Cuhail and dat's what I do!

Honestly, I can hide the batteries anywhere and the switch can be disguised. I am just glad you guys dig this idea. I pretty much try to do this to all my models somehow, I just never get that far before being distracted.
:-)

Now, for the rollbar spots...

That is awesome. How are you going to display that to show off the lights? Shadowbox?

That's a good question. Hmmmm. On the one hand we have an unmitigated "yes" which definitly runs well with the common folk.
on the other hand we have a relegated "No" which tends to highlight the finer points of the polls.
All in all, we can form the conclusion that will satisfy all the intermediate junctions involved with this program....

Who says Irishmen in Chicago can't be politicians.

Honestly, I don't know yet.

He he he.
