Hey guys I need your help. :-)

I am about to make a canvas cover for this thing and I need to know how long are those 4 rails which hold the tarp. Anyone has the PE at hand and can tell me the lenght and width?

And the second thing which bothers me is how are the front fenders attached to the vehicle and how is the exhaust mounted, is it fixed to the fender? 251 is D version.
The thing is I want to make it without a fender and I don't know what to do with the exhaust, should I throw it off or should it hand there?
Any ideas appreciated.

I don't have the pe, but I have the Royal Models canvas cover for the D, the rib indent on the cover is 2 and 1/8 inch from side to side and 3/16th of an inch wide.



The muffler was attached to the horizontal plate on the fender by a circular ring and 4 bolts so you would have to ditch the muffler but you could leave the pipe sticking out of the firewall. Hope this helps and good luck.
