Cannot wait until you start paint it and the models will come in place for real. Looking forward, and good luck with it.

Wow! That will be massive! I can't wait to see it finished! Will it come with wheels to roll it around?

I think it will look awesome when finished

I did a visual size thing when I read the first post 2,5m by 60cm by..... and had a rough idea - or so I thought

That is a MONSTER. That's huge. You need an addition on the house for that.

edit - added "Costas, I re-read your previous post and have a pretty decent idea of what you are planning. At least I have a guess with the Quiz post you did. I don't think you're putting the 8" on the top of the hill, if you have an idea to do that - don't. My point is in Vietnam there were lot of rules for deploying equipment."

Major Goose Sir! I have complete confidence in your work here. I have an excellent feeling about this diorama. Not only because of its size, but because of the amount of details you will add to this, to the professionalism to your figures, and your tanks are outstanding. Vietnam isnt my favorite subject, but I do have interest and lately its growing bigger. I hope to someday be as good as you. I want to know a couple things. Im in somewhat of a modelling slump on my dio right now, not really wanting to finish up the figures. I was wondering if youve ever had one of these? Also, are these the figures that will be going into this dio? One more question, how come the walls are at a 90 degree angle. Im not really worried about the last question, because I know what your capable of, and im sure youll do somthing with them. Excellent work so far my brother. BTW, I dont know if you have MSN but here is mine [email protected]. Thanks for posting your work here bro!

Sorry I missed your earlier threads Costas. Looks like you weren't kidding when you mentioned earlier that it was going to be a biggie. Planning the vegetation alone will be a huge undertaking by itself.

I like the interesting terrain. Looking forward to the progress shots.

Hi guys thanks a lot fopr your comments. As for the celluclay , jeff i really dont know where the **ll these island guys find this stuff, i really dont know !!!

Harrison dont worry over the 90 degrees inclination cause everything is already planned and this will not be showing in the final picture!!!! Though i could show u many pictures of 90 degrees hills here in greece or elsewhere. Some of the fiuggies u shaw will be repainted and used in the dio .

We all have slumps like giving up on dios, and after 25 years of modelling i surely had many of them. U wanna know the truth ?
i havent ever left back a dio unfinished. I just dont like that . But i have stopped a project for 1-2-3 months sometimes till i get my batteries full charged again on it.

CK i ll be needing lots of help on the dio so be sure i ll be gfetting in touch with u !!!!!

Thanks guys .

The second part of the base is already under works and will be soon posted here for u to comments !!!

Keep safe guys

My brother,

You are really crazy, you know that, don't you!!! You have told me about ths dio in Athens Show but I couldn't imagine how BIG you meant! After the first post, I considered that it's okay. But this is the HALF base??? Where are you going to put it??? In the beach nearby your house???? And yes, of course, you are nuts!!!
Keer working brother, you are a guarantee of quality modeling work!

Nick
