So after the plaster is set , i have started toapply celluclay. I did that on both the areasthat will recreate earth and in area that will pour water. The lastonewill be sealed with several layers ofpolyester before the epoxy resin pours.
So i used a first thicklayer of celluclay to coverthe gaps of the plaster bandage and a juicier oneover it to make smooth surface
Now the stuff is on But celluclay takes much time toget dry . Thats a reasonmany guys dont use it dioramas.
My way of getting it dry in 2 hoursis the combination of a 2000 Watts lamp and a windblower at the same time
This way u are able to move on painting the celluclay within the same day asi will do later tonight
Thanks for looking

Costas,
What I would like to know is how it is that you are so talented to as be able to apply Celluclay with 2 hands AND be able to take photos...
I was wondering what the fan was for in the previous post... and it was for as I suspected...

Costas, you must be one lucky man. In my experience when I tried to use light to cure the celluclay faster all I get is lifting or cracking celluclay. Looking good so far. I hope your magic keeps working Kevin :-)

Costas:
OK now I understand. In your house you have a five car garage and that is where your Texas sized dio are kept? Kidding aside, however: I notice that you do NOT put earth colored paint in the celluclay as you are mixing it. And I'm sure you have a reason for not doing that. Wondering what that reason is?
Love the height variation in this dio. I realize a member has already mentioned that.
