Well, I've started my "On Two Wheels" build with a WWII Harley that I spent an hour and a half trying to find where I left it. Tom Ardito sent it to me half-built in hopes that I could re-furbish it. No such luck. It's in pretty bad shape and I dismantled it in hopes of starting it over.

Not possible.

BUT! I can use a lot of the parts, so, I'm scratchbuilding a frame, forks, gas tank, most of the engine and a rear wheel, which I worked on today.

It will be an OCC style chopper when I'm done. I also started scratching out the frame today.

Look for photos soon.

Put in some scaled down pa Teutel throwing with chairs and grumbling to his employees and you are complete!

OCC style, not OCC built.

Teutels...we don't need no stinking Teutels! :-)

I hope this frame works out.
Wish me luck!

Aha! Thanks. Neat looking bikes - not my kind of thing (I prefer sports bikes) but very impressive machines nevertheless.

Alright, I'm still not sure if this frame is going to work, but, here are my parts so far.

The rear tire and wheel were interesting to make. I sanded the inside faces of two jeep tires down and glues them together, ground out the rims and added a rim from a BMW R 75 sidecar tire.
I know the picture sucks, but, I took it hastily before bed last night.
The tank is plastic strip stock glued and carved down and the frame is plastic rod.
If all your wishes for luck hold out, I will have the crossbar and forks attached today.

I checked OCC's site for frames, but, no dice! I just need to see a good picture of a chopper frame. I love how the tank is looking though. I did some more sanding and it almost shines. I filed out the channel on the bottom of it so it would sit right on the X-bar. I'll try to get some better pix done.

Well, I took some more pictures and two of them were good enough to post.

Here's an "exploded view" of what's done.

And a better shot of the rear tire, which is coming out better that I'd hoped.

I'm still tweaking the frame and I found a couple of good pictures on the web that will (and have) help me out.

Keep up with the wishes for luck, this is the easy part.

Cuhail,
You're doing a great job there! The tank is really OCC like indeed. It's gonna be a cool bike, I'm sure you can do it!!
Is the bike also gonna get a 'theme'?

I have a few ideas rattling around in me noggin.

It may be faux-military or a Pro-wrestling motif. Possibly an American Railroad theme.
Not sure yet.

Thanks for the interest.
