The AVF Club track are excellent and quite a value. On the Tamiya the problem may be with the flexible suspension. The link to link track may not be flexible enough. I too was disappointed that Tamiya chose rubber band tracks for the M-26.
The Rubio barrel are excellent choices, but try the Tamiya one first before spending the money.
Photoetch will give you finer details and is usually worth the $$$ but on the M-26 some thinning with a sanding stick can go a long ways.
Hope this helps

The dragon M-26 also comes with link to link saw the AFV club ones they looked real good also. Don't know about the barrel but Tamiya's barrel should be quite good.

I am almost at the point of swearing off PE. They are terribly expensive and contain many parts of dubious value to your effrots. I bought the Eduard set for the USMC M4 Sherman. It cost five bucks more than the model. The parts for the water ventilation system contain several so what parts, the .50 cal additions are superb, and the rest is so-so. As regards the M-26, I saw no necessity to get another barrel.
