Hello everybody! Thank you to everyone who helped me on my last post. I'm just about to paint my F-18 and I was wondering if I should pre-shade it with black or dark grey? Any suggestions would help. And a little off topic, Revell models suck!!!
Thanks, Jay

Hello Jay,
Welcome to Armorama Ok...well I like to pre-shade using Black. You can use a dark gray if the base coat is a lighter shad of grays.
Here is a pic of a helicopter I did, It shows the steps (left to right) as you go along. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the tip. I like the black better. I'm still debating on wheather or not to do a wash on it though. So i figure if I preshade a little more I wont have to. I want this model to look a little more clean than my usual models. But I'll wait till I got the paint on to figure that one out.
Thanks again, Jay.
