Due to the recent interest for shadowboxes Ill post these in progress pictures for those interested. Hopefully they will be of help and inspiration for those wanting to make one. This is my first trial and there were quite a few things to consider and research.
I also would like to thank you all for all the suggestions for the title. It was a hard choice but Ive settled for: "Sympathy for the devils..."
Heres the first pic of the outercase interior. There are two lamps, one to the port side and one at the ceiling, and a fan in the ceiling as well. Not seen is a LED with a reflector that is mounted on the veil to take out the shadow of the ceiling lamp in the scene that casts on the door.

Picture number two shows the scene slided into the box with the lights on. Note the empty space to the left and as well over and below the scene. Those clearances are necessary to have but perhaps not as big as the one on the left side.

Here the veil is in place and you can see the wires for the LED light on its right side. The whole box front is to be a picture frame with a passpertou with the opening just slightly smaller than the larger end of the veil.

And heres the angle of what the viewer will see once the scene is finnished. I also would like to stress the fact that it isnt finnished yet. Shadows, weathering and more details is to be made both on the figures and the surrondings.

Cheers
