Sup Fellas,

Well Ive been thinking lately. Crete is not a word used on these forums very much, and id like to give notice to the soldiers who faught in the battle. So here is the idea:

German, British & Common wealth, and Italians.

Dioramas, viginettes, ships, planes, figures, tanks can all be entries.

1/35 or 120 mm dioramas or viginettes

Ships can be any scale

Planes any scale

Figures can be 1/35 and up.

Tanks can be 1/35 and up.

Are you guys interested or what?

This is a nice idea. I think this would be a very enjoyable campaign.

I think I have some German paras lying around somewhere. Gonna have to brush up on my Crete subject matter.

I believe that Guntruck isn't approving campaigns until 2006.

BTW I met a Luftwaffe glider pilot just last night. He trained to deliver paras by glider but his unit was never given a glider operation so he was reassigned to become a pilot flying a Ju88.

I would be very interested in a Crete campaign as you have outlined.

I realise that it won't start for quite a while - but I am away from home at the moment and my time away has just been extended another 4 weeks - si it will be quite a while before I can get back on here to see the result of your enquiry (and to build again).
