There are some models (two Dodge WC-54's) on ebay I am interested in made by Bilek. All the description says is "Many Bilek kits are ex Italeri". Not much of a description! The front of the box has no scale. I have emailed the seller but have gotten no reply. Never even heard of Bilek till I saw the kits for sale. Did they make specific scales or several scales? Any help would be appreciated.

Bilek Allied kits are 1/35 reboxes of ex-Italeri kits.

The kits are 1/35 scale. They started out as Peerless Max kits that became Testors/Italeri kits when Peerless Max folded. The P-M WC series consisted of the WC-52 Beep, WC-56 Staff Car, M6 37mm anti-tank gun (WC with AT gun in bed), WC-61 1 1/2 ton 6x6 and the 3/4 ton ambulance.
Most of the Bilek kits are retooled(?) ambulances that they now market as Signal Corps vehicles. Look for Italeri reviews of the ambulance to see how the kit is.

Bilek rebox a variety of other companies models (I think they've done some Airfix 1/72 aircraft too). The WC-54 is the old Peerless/Max/Airfix blah blah risen again. And it is definitely 1/35th
The ambulance is a nice model in the Italeri version at least, though I doubt that time and wear has done the moulds much good.
Bilek also rebox the Italeri Hetzer.

Jonhy, Bileck kits are Italery kits reboxed and re-worked by this firm! But they still maintain the good old Italery quality! You can buy at ease! (I say this as I bought the Bilek Dodge ambulance, and not other kits)!
Cheers and good modelling!

Johnny, here’s a build and correction of the Bilek / Italeri #226 Dodge WC-54 Ambulance.
Hope this helps.
PS: Here's a build of the Testor's Dodge WC-54 Ambulance.
