How many versions of flamethower Shermans are there during WWII? I tried searching google and found 2 diff versions.
This is a regular M4 fitted with a flamer right?
Another one I found:

Cheers and happy modelling!

Ralph
There were also 4 sherman crocodiles built using the trailers and flame guns from the Churchill Crocodile, I have one planned as my entry into Burn Baby Burn.

Hehehe... that was also actually my plan. I wanna convert one of my Shermans to a flamer version, but I'll pick the easiest one. Perhaps the M4 looks like the easiest convertion.

I believe there was a type called the M4A1R3, of which only 4 were ever built. It simply had the hull MG replaced with a flamethrower.

Hmm... that would be nice. Is that anyway like the OT-34/85? I mean the flamer of the OT-34/85 the same with the M4A1R3? Got any pics?

Sorry, no pics. The only thing I know about it is that its called the M4A1R3, and that the only external change from the regular M4A1 was a flamethrower barrel in place of the hull .30 cal MG. All the other modifications were internal. Very simple scratchbuild.
