Along with some of you guys, I too was dissapointed in the lack of detail and missing parts from the Verlinden Bradley Reactive Armor.
Well, since I have access to the manuals, I started to do some research for another Bradley that I am working on. I cam across the TM with parts for the add on armor and thought I would share it with you guys. There is really not that much you have to do to correct the set.
I'm about 90% done with the turret and I really didn't need to do anything to the armor for the turret. It looks like most of the missing stuff is from the side armor. The forntal armor just needs to be raised of the deck a little bit.
I'll post pictures of my Bradley before I put paint on to it to show all the new additions.

I got the Armour also and I am going to do it when I am done with my M1A1 Abrams.
Those extras look like it would give it alot of interesting chareacter and might win some contest. How are you building those mounting brackets and where did you get the correct size for them. Thats the biggest thing for me is knownig the demenstions for scrap building things. I might be able to guess but I don't want to do all that work and it comes out stupid looking.
Are you going to cut each block off and mount them all seperately.
I can not wait to see yours so I can get inspired by your work your work does that to me it HELPS me strive to become better when I see your models.

Tom,
I'm going to wing a little bit. I already mounted the turret blocks straight to the turret. I just scraped off the bolts where the blocks go. Looks pretty good comparing it to the real thing in photo's.
As for the side armor. I got some Evergreen channel strips. I know it is what the real thing looks like, but its close. When I went to my LHS, I was intending to pick up some hollow rectangle tubing, but coudn't find any close to the right size. I have to scratch build the rear peice and the peice that is missing from the front, I'm just going to laminate some sheet styrene right over the kit part and blend it into the resin part.
The front armor, I think I am going to try and use styren strip and bend to shape like the brackets.

I used the TM when writing my review of the 1/72 scale set. The side armor and turret armor are passable in 1/72 scale. The frontal armor array look nothing like the tiles held down with bolts. To fix it on the 1/72 scale kit would be difficult. I'm not sure exactly what I will do to accurize it though.

Rob, have you seen the 1/35 set. If so, what would be your opinion as far as the frontal armor? Do you think it can be fixed?

All I have left is the gubnners hatch on the turret. If I finish it tonight, I'll shoot a couple of pics of the turret before it is painted.

Epi,
Is this the 1/35 or 1/72 Verlinden set. I've a Tammy Bradley (35132) unbuilt and begging for armour.

Tom,
35132 is old M2 Bradley. I'm afraid you cannot apply the ERA to this model - it will not be accurate, but most importantly it will simply not fit. It can only be applied to M2A2 kits (35152 and 35264).

Both! Verlinden has it in both scale. Rob (SABOT) did a good review on the 1/72 set.
I'm doing the 1/35 set.

I am going to do a M2A2 Bradley ODS I have like 10 of them so I might do a dio with a set of them clearing houses.
I had to mix and match a case of M113's with either M1A2's or the Bradleys. I went with them because there more interesting to me and I know I might be able to trade with the M2A2 instead of the M1A2's Abrams. There are alot of choices for the Abrams but not for the Bradleys because someone might like a certain kind of Abrams model company brand.
