Hey everybody, need some feedback. I've got my DML Tiger I (initial production) to start sometime, but I just wanted to know if these initials were ever whitewashed for winter, I've got a neat idea kicking around for a little dio and would really like to give this kit the winter treatment. I've searched for pics of the Tiger and all I've managed to find for ones that had whitewashing were later models.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Kelly

Actually, I have just finished the DML Initial and also want it in a whitewash. I am following the article by Mig in MMiR where he modeled a heavily worn whitewash on a Panzer IV. I didn't have much luck with photos either, but the instructions show tactical #121 in whitewash. Good enough for me. Hopefully, I'll have some photos soon.

Thanks for the pictures Richard. Check out how beat up "4" is. Multilpe holes in the road wheels, big @ss scorch mark on the side. Man, those WW2 tankers (on all sides) must have had some...
Thanks again,
Shaun

My thanks as well. I am also doing a whitewash on my Tiger. Now I have a few more ideas to go with the other ones swirling around in my head.

Guy's, i can't post them but if can get a copy of Panzer Colors 3 you will be all set. There are a bunch of pictures of white washed tigers. On page 51 they have a couple of pictures of PzAbt 502 which was the first unit to recieve the Initial Tiger.
