Hello ,this is the work that now I´m making. Is a medieval tower. in previous photos you can see the main gate now I added a section of circular tower near it.
These towers have a thick of 3 metres or more. and in reality was constructed by two paralel walls of stone and the space was filled with debris. for simulate this I use Das Pronto and some pleebles from the beach. I hope taht are interesting for us.

Muy Bien! Me gusta!

That's all of the spanish I can muster.
In english, I like it! I assume you assembled the main wall while it was lying flat on the table? It looks great.

Inspiring. You ought to make a "Where Eagles Dare" or "Dirty Dozen" dio out of it.

Like it very much

Ola Blockhaus:

Wow, this structure is just fantastic. A lot of people use the structures that Verlinden and a lot of other fine companies produce in resin and styrene; i.e. walls, gates, fountains, church ruins, etc. And I think this is fine as it speeds up the time spent on the dio that the builder is creating. That's the plus. IMO, the minus is that a lot of the dio builders are aware all these ready made structures when a person uses them. That is OK too! But when a person like yourself creates a tower/keep from scratch— and yes, it takes longer — but IMO again, you then have a unique setting. A one of a kind. No one else will create one of their own quite like yours. Sir I commend you for the lovely structure you've created w/ that tower. Hope to see more pix soon.

Blockhaus…as always your work is fantastic. Over the last year you amaze me what you can do with cork. I’m not a diorama person, and always had trouble with my building. But you make it look and sound so easy to achieve. One day I’ll try your technique and hopefully, hopefully, it’ll turn out ½ as good as yours. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hello all,
thanks for your kind words.

Brian : this tower is for a friend that make the vehicle and the figures. the vehicle is parket in front of the gate with some breakdown in the engine. Crew try desperately repair the damage. in the top of the tower a observer just see a allied figther bomber and try to warning is camarades about the danger. is not easy explain in detail but the idea is capture this moment.

Zaidi: the cork of the keep is 5mm thick ,with 10 mm thick you can make a good stones also. A best choice for find every thing is take the yellow pages

Macin, I never count the buildings that I make but probably more that one hundred

Kevin, I await your messajes. One reason for send these photos at Armorama is encourage others interested in urban dioramas to make is how houses.
I´m happy see other modellers houses and give some advice if is need

blockhaus, I'm a big fan of your cork-work, and always loving seeing new things you post. I'm a 1/6 modeler and the first time I saw your structures made of cork I was amazed, and really impressed. I also realised that this would be perfect for plans I have of 1/6 structures, especially bricks. So thank you for sharing!

Your photo Gallery is also very impressive, in 2002 i saw that Berlin dio with the huge factory in a German modeling magazine, and its' atmosphere is just amazing!
