It is the old Gunze hi tech kit with the metal replaced with plastic. The Tamyia kits are better G's. The IR gear is also incorrect.

I agree with John. Tamiyas Panther G is far better. It costs a little more but its worth it.

Hi Mike,
For the price you cant go wrong! I've built the Tamiya and Dragon G kis and was happy with both but for different reasons.
The Dragon really isn't as bad as people would have you believe you do get the IR but that could be used with any 251/D
kit to make a 'Falke'. You get Individual tracks which you could attempt to open up the guide horns on. and you get correct double lip road wheels. The only real minus is the suspension which is molded integral with the hull. The money you save on buying the Dragon offering over Tamiya's can be put to getting one of the photoetch sets on the market and spicing it up a bit.
If life gives you lemons...make lemonade

Hi Mike
i'm kinda agree with Gary. I've build both of these kits and to me both are good. The DML is rebox of gunze kit and it's produced by Shanghai-Dragon and named Night Fighting Panther. U got 3 IR device that molded in clear plastic. You can buy two dragon kits with the price of 1 Tamiya. Dragon kits fits well. I build the kit without the IR gears so have some spare (which i already gave to someone here)...so u got plenty of choices now...
IMHO, dragon kit is good!
