Hey lads!
Well I've just uploaded some pics... They are in my gallery and show my exhaust deflector, which will actually be more battered than it appears...
Also a side shot of the rear deck and the angle I've created to make the A2 an A3 again... Nowhere near done as needs some fill etc.
The last shot (should) shows the deflector in place, and not familiar with the layout of the A2, am not sure of the underside of the hull overhang, which has a type of grill in place there... With the deflector in place you can't see it though! Any critiques welcomed

Nice little deflector. Did you start with the Tamiya one and sculpt it out?

Is the handle on yours a rod or a flat plate? I couldn't tell from the photo. It should be a rod, I have posted some photos of an actual one.

NIce looking model going there.

Thanks Mike! The adjusting rod IS just that; a rod. Used fuse wire...
It once WAS the Tamiya deflector!
Funny, that I started this project because the new Dragon M4A3 hadn't arrived yet; and now that it has, well waddya know, there is a perfect remodelled exhaust deflector in the kit!! Oh well, think I have more satisfaction building it myself
