Anyone know of a good place to get Challenger II decals That are NOT for the gulf war. I found some pictures of the OP TELIC style Challenger in the Two tone camo. So I need some decals that would reflect what it would have with that Camo Scheme. I am also building the Kosovo One at the same time, I would use the extra number there, But what About the smaller Decals? Any One Got any info......

Echelon is working on two decals sets for the C2, but release date is not known, same goes for the content.

Pete,
I am not really sure. I am building the Trumpeter OP Telic and Kosovo one. I want to put them next to each other as in the same Brigade (Regiment). It doesnt have to be completely accurate but i would like the right decals in the right spots. I really like the royal dragoons, But the trumpeter sets do not come with them. The ones provided are a little red Kangaroo? I think that is what it is, But it only comes with one set, and also one set of the scotish flag that so many on the have. You would probably know more about what is needed than me.

The little red rat is in fact correct for a Royal Scot's Dragoon Guards Challenger 2. The red desert rat or gerboa indicates that the RSDG is a part of the seventh armoured brigade. Other than the red desert rat, the only other distinctive marking worn by RSDG tanks in the Saltire (Scottish flag). The other markings are very similar to the Op Telic markings and would consist largely of black vehicle sqaudron/call-signs, convoy marking, vehicle registraion code and the odd Union Jack.

I found that erither the Accurate Armour decals set or the decals included with the original Trumpeter Challenger 2 should provide all you need for a Challenger 2 gun tank (you would have to use the KFOR lettering and chevron from the Trumpeter KFOR kit though).

Giv e me a shout if you have any further questions about this stuff as I am fairly versant on the Challenger and it's markings.

Cheers - Dan ([email protected])
