Hi all,

I'm going to built a LVT-4 Buffalo (italeri kit)

I've been told the kit is actually a post-war version. Does someone know what modifications I could make to convert it to a WW2 version?

Not talking about complicated stuff but easy modifications I can do. I'm not a big scratchbuilders/detail-modeller.....

Thanks,
Martin

Martin, thats a good question I also have this kit and didn't know it was modeled after a post wwII amphib.
How much is involved in back-dating it to - lets say it's first WWII appearence.

Hey

From what I understand it is a French post WW2 vehicle as they were used in Indo-China around 1954 iirc

Hi Martin
Have a look on my web page and you will see the start of my back dating of the LVT4 early.

If you can get a copy of Military Modelling can not remember the 2002 ? year or month a cap named Bruce Crosby did a special article on it. If you have any questions PM me and I will try and help you.
Cheers
Ralph
