HI

Turned out well indeed.

As I recall, you didn't use much aftermarket did you..? Just goes to show that you do not need to buy a lot of AM to make a kit look good!

I am just in the process of finishing off my latest Jadgpanther for the TDCampaign, hope it is worthy of the praise you have rec'd.

An excellent job there. Really fine piece of work. I esp. like the late-war camo job. Out-standing!. Will look forward to your article too.

Take care, Sgirty

An impressive model overall. Great camo work and the mild weathering looks good. I like little details like the rubber wheels missing some chunks, and the bucket. The figure looks the part also.
My "Nit-picks ...."
The tracks dont appear natural on the top-run coming from the drive sprocket ... they float up instead of sagging down. It could also benifit with some pin washes to increase depth and effect in some areas ... the weld joints of the turret being the most obvious, but smaller items could use some as well ... the hull and surface details are not shown, so no comments on them!

Very nice, though I think the sledge hammer head and handle should be darker.

.
i dont see nothing wrong with the tracks .i did some research on the track sag on the jagdpanthers and they dont seem to sag like Tiger tracks.heres a picture of a JP and it shows not much sagging.

cheers
Its whats called a tight track.loose tracks have sag.

Hi Karl,
Really nice looking job! Have some very nice details that add quite abit to the over all look. The damaged tires, great job on the spare tracks, small arms fire damage, and the bucket.
The tracks look fine, except on the right side. Right above the 1st set of roadwheels it appears to be kinked and gives it the appearance of going up just a bit.
Think the tools need a little more weathering or toned down.
Small things that in no way should reduce the credit you deserve for a great build.
Thanks for sharing, it's really an inspiration to me

Hi Karl ....I agree with what you are saying. But take a look at your image number 2.
M-60-A3 described it better, as a little kink ... Thats what I was trying to say!
Your Jagdpanther is indeed a fine model, but little nitty things like this, make so much difference.

The "float" in the tracks comes from using vinyl tracks.. The only way to fix it is to glue or tiedown the tracks to the first road wheels.. A simple fix..

IMHO, though, you have built a GREAT piece.. If the tracks work for you, they work for me.. Very nice job on the Jagdpanther..
