After it was published on the Turkish site first, the author decided to also write the article in English. An excellent choice. Making Tree Stumps... a great article including excellent pictures.
I enjoyed this article very much while publishing it, and I''m sure you will too while reading it!

Wow, a very useful tip and a very realistic looking stump too. BTW, what brand of modeling clay did you use because most of the modeling clay I often find here does not harden...

An excellent tutorial, and beautiful tree stumps to boot. Time to get out the clay or milliput I think..
Thanks for sharing this.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your kind comments. It is a pleasure to share this article with you all.
I can't remember the brand now, sorry.. It is a self-hardening model clay which I bought from art craft shop. But I'm sure you can make it also with milliput.
Danny, thank you very much for corrections and for publishing the feature. You've done a great job..

Warthog,
In the past I used "DAS Pronto" clay for this purpose. It's actually quite good for it.
Type in "DAS Pronto" in Google( http://www.google.nl/search?q=DAS+Pronto )to find suppliers.

Thanks for the article. It looks great. I've found that artistic things like this often look easier than they really are, but this looks easy enough to warrant giving it a try. It also doesn't require going out and buying anythings I don't have already.

Alguhan, thank you for sharing your tricks to make stumps. It is almost the same as the ones I make but looks like yours turn out better.

I really like how the technique is really so simple, but the end result is so stunning. This one gets book-marked!

Excellent article! I read it in Romanian and the next day I was buying the clay.
Here's the picture of it, but probably it won't help you much because the label in written in Romanian and it contains only the manufacture's address:
