Hi Guys. Heres a couple of progress of the AER BA-64b vignette that I am building for the Spahwagen Abteilung campaign. Its not a very builder friendly kit ,but really not much of a choice if you want to build one. I plan on a couple of german soldiers fighting their way past the car and the dead russian. I'm calling it counter attack.

Ciao Waterboy,
It looks really great! I really like the Russian figure. Did you sculpt it yourself? I can't wait to see the finished piece.
Ciao for now

Unfortunately that's a common sight in war. It kinda hits home doesn't it?

I think when a piece of work stimulates emotion after staring at it like I just did, it classifies as being art.

Nice work. I've seen dead dudes in vinyettes before, but the way that you have this figure, it just appears so dramatic and yet so natural.

I can't wait to see the rest.

A very fine piece of work. It really looks good. I especially like the building, and the surrounding debris. Vehicle and fig looks great too.

Looking forward to see the final shot.

Very nice! I too am interested in that figure...sculpted? If not who makes it and where did you get it?

Please post more pics once you have more work done and thanks for sharing these.

Thanks for all of the words of encouragment guys. The base is an old plaster kit that I believe came from a company called synergy. It's long out of production. The resin figure comes from a set I bought on ebay. I can't remember the gentlemans name but he has the set on ebay from time to time. I do remember he lives in Alaska. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.

It's a very nice looking dio sofar. Andi I know that BA-64 is a very 'challenging' kit as I build it myself also.
Their are several brands that bring that kit, but I believe it are all using the same bad molds.

As mentioned above, the dio has something dramatic in it. Looking forward to the final results!

The KARO AS resin BA-64 is an even bigger challenge than the AER horror

I look at my AER occasionally and think that maybe I'll get a Tamiya GAZ to replace the chassis, then I find something else to do - congratulations on having the will to finish it
