Hi Guys. This is Tamiya´s old GAZ 67B car, built on Friday, and sprayed yesterday. I needed a quick-fix to get me buzzing again. Built OOB except for the spare wheel attachment, which 2 scraps of plastic shapes were used. Sprayed with tamiya acrylics.
The spare wheel was solid,so I drilled out where the bolts are on the other wheel, and also the central hub. I made a new attachment with 2 scraps of plastic rod and channel. At least it can be seen how the spare wheel is attached and can be used. !!
Any comments orcritic on what is done, so far, is welcome.
EDIT; I experimented a little with dirt in the wheel arches of this vehicle. Further pictures and explanation of this can be seen Here.

Looks good. Your left headlight assembly looks like it is pointing upwards too much.

Looks good Frank. I like the finish on it. Also, I've seen the pictures in your gallery and I like the mud underneath - what color is it? Can you tell me how you applied the granite paint? I want the same kind of mud for my BA-20 but I don't want to start because I'm afraid I'm going to mess up the whole chassis.

Thanks Sabot and Paul.
The beauty of photographs ... I thought the headlights sat pretty good .. until you mentioned this Rob. Hopefully I can play with the lense to straighten it!
Paul .... I have added an edit to the first post with a link to the dirt on the bottom!

Nice going so far Frank. Not to be nit picky but, the last photo the rear left wheel looks canted towards the rear. It may be the photo though.

It more than likely is canted. All wheels, including the steering wheel, and also the seats are placed in for the photographs. None are fixed. Hopefully I´ll get them staright when they are glued. Thanks anyway!

Looks good Frank,
but i would open or color the vents on the hood on the side facing the windshield. This scoops serve as windscreen heater and direct the worm air from the engine to the screens.
Happy modelling

Gaz 67B Field Car looks great so far. This is a neat little kit, and a nice change of pace.
Will you be doing the figures that come with this kit ?
Cheers !!
