I'm embarrassed to ask, but I've built a hadnful of German WWII tanks and oftern there's a square block that sits on the side of the tank. Some versions look like the plastic is etched to look like wood. Can anyone tell me what this thing actually is? I've been painting them a wood color, but maybe I'm way off!
TIA...Kevin

It is a block of wood used to place under the jack when jacking up the tank to replace road wheels.
