Folks
Here's a bit more of my Bergepanther

I doubt if you'll be able to see it very well but I had to file both the engine hatch and the panel round the front crew hatches down go get them to fit, also one of the crew hatches doesn't fit too well in the hole provided.

Here I've added the rear tow hitch

I decided here to use a set of DML Panther D indy links instead of the kit indy links because (a) they have more detail on them and (b) they take less to remove from the sprue and clean up.

Also I have decided to use parts from the Tamiya panzer IV accessory set because they are better than thse supplied. While ICM have used some good ideas on this kit (Ejector points on sprue frames and not the parts for example) I'm not totally impressed with some of the parts and their fit etc.

Pete

Chad
The kit comes with 4 figures so I'll attempt to get them painted up and put with the model

Robert
there are 2 options, plain dunkelgelb or dunkelgelb with green stripes, I may well go for the green stripe option.

Looks very good Peter. Any major fit issues or obvious problems? I think the Green stripes will look great on it.

The only major fit problems were the engine hatch and the panel round the front crew hatches, both had to be filed down to make them fit.

Peter,
I have the same kit. Yours looks very nice. And thanks for sharing the details, they will help me so much on building this kit.
