I hope someone out here can answer my question. I know that the only Tiger 1's at the bulge were of the 506th Hummel company and there was only 14 of them.Of all the pictures I located they seem to all be hybrids, my question is: Did any of these 14 Tigers have zimmerit ? The pics I've seen are of knocked out vehicles and don't seem to have zimm. Can anyone verify one way or the other?

Hi Ed, the quick and easy answer is, yes. There is a pic in TIC II of one of the companies Tiger I's where you can very clearly tell that it had zim. There are a couple more that look as if they might have had zim, but the pics are not very clear.
