Hi Guys,
Need your opinions again...I just did the advise/suggestions others gave in my previous post.
1) Gave the tall grass darker wash
2) Colored the short grass with a paler green shade
3) Added a few more real earth
4) Added a few grass clumps as well as static grass.
Dio without the AFV and Figs
Dio complete with AFV and Figs.
Need your comments on how to further improve...
Cheers and thanks

Arvin. Looks great. Once you get the figures done, it should come together very nicely. Congrats. "Q"

Very nice groundwork Warthog especially the uneveness of the ground. It really adds to the "3-D" feel to the dio.
Just a super tiny nitpick. The short grass looks great. However, it might be the color of the photo but your tall grass appears a bit on the brownish side. If the short grass is green that would mean it ain't a winter scene but your tall grass color tends indicate autumn or possibly a winter color. No big problem really if you want to maintain its current color. Just assume that the longer grass is growing poorly coz its in a waterlogged low spot.
Hope that didn't sound too critical.

Hi BeachBum,
Your nitpicks are valid. However I just have a question w/c I posted in the previous thread. What is the acceptable color of tall grasses in Russia? Other say its brown/tan or something similar. Should tall grass and short grass (Russia) have the same color?
BTW, you are right that its not a winter scene, my idea is middle or late summer (rainy).
Thanks for the input
Cheers
