Hi peter! is your model finished finished or just the build finished?.see you have hand painted the camo,so how about a light coat of dark yellow to tone down the camo,it would look way better.its a very nice looking kit, also would be great recovering a Tiger or panther in a dio.

Karl
It's finished for now, to be honest i've never had the courage to weather things like you guys do. I must get an cheap old kit to practise on.

I like the hand painted camo. Looking good.
If youve never wethered before, you ought to try a wash of burnt umber and black oil paint, thinned out alot with some turpentine. Just flow it into the recesses of the model withe a small brush. Doing that will really bring out the detail of your kit, which by the way looks great!
Wash the stuff over the tracks to darken all the receses and also make up a batch of rust/steel, thinned out not much and mixed up just enough to keep the colors separate and go over the tracks to add some depth there too. Highlight with a little bit of silver here and there, but not too much.
Now it just needs a little boost to take it over the top.
