Need help on color of fuel/water cans.

I'm building a ICM Luchs. Does anyone have any info on what color the fuel cans were? Were they the same color of the vehicle or was there a base color of some kind?

Hi Matt,
They were german grey or german yellow, with a white cross to differentiate between gas and water, water having the cross.
