I am currently working on the old Tamiya 1/25 Centurion. The barrel is not in the best condition. I am thinking of building a new one. Before I do does anyone know of anybody that has made an aluminum barrel for this kit? I plan on using brass tubing to do this. I am going to use different diameter tubes to make the general conical shape near the mantlet. I suppose I will use putty to make the barrel smooth on the conical shape.

What's your address? I've got one I'm not using.
FYI, Mouse House makes several different barrels for the Centurion, A and B type 20 pounder, plus an L7 (105mm), but if all you want is a replacement, the kit one is fine.

My address is
Cory Sutton
4416 Newport Dr
Norman, Ok 73072
What is the difference between the A, B? Then obviously the L7 is the newer 105mm, right? Are these resin or metal. My kit barrel is just not up to my standards as far as shape and size. Thank for your help.

I'll send it tomorrow. The A type has no bore evacuator, the B does. Additionally, some B types had counterweights on them. I'm putting L7's on three of my 1/25 Centurions. I originally was going to just use copies of a 105 from the Bandai M60A1, but I wasn't too thrilled with it.
