Great job, I love your weathering.

That part on the back of the tank, shouldn't that be wood? on the left.
Stowage on your tank should be great.

Those little dots in the begin of your barrel should I remove.

But further is it a great tank

Ola Daniel

That starts to look very good. I like the way you weathered. the vehicle. It just looks good and not overdone.

About the thing on the back that Hilbert mentions. I don`t know if it is out of scale and I even don`t know if they were available in wood. I don`t even really know what it is for (probably a place for stowage of the crew)
But I happen to have some shots of a contraption like this in Steel here are the pics (They are on the back of a Sherman though but I think they would use kinda the same sort of thing for the M36

I hope it is of some help. Maybe somebody could clarify if these "Shelves" were also available in wood. I have never seen them in wood on Shermans.

Daniel, superb job! I love the weathering on that mantlet. I understand what Hilbert means about the 'beading' in the pastels on the mantlet, but once brushed off very carefully it will look wonderful! May I ask if you textured the mantlet with anything before applying the pastels?

This is not what I meant.
But yes these things were used by the crew for stowage.
I meant that thing totally left.(and right)
Above the return roller.
Where you see the flash (another tip )

I hope this will be much more specific.

Hilbert those are spare track carriers and they are made out of metal not wood..sorry
Cheers,
Bryan

Danel its really coming together..a bit heavy on the weathering for my tastes but not bad at all.
Cheers,

ex-royal:yes i know the weathering is a bit strong! I have removed the most of it! I will post new pics when sun is shining in the rainy Denmark!

Teacher: Im glad that you like my model! Yes i have put some texture on it before applying pastels!

To be honest i am not very happy about the end result! The things i would like to have changed is the hull with tamiya! But the my account couldnt afford it this month!

the things i am going to change is! Paint the details! Tools, spare tracks, wheater the tracks and apply them on the tank! maybe apply some storage!

by the way i forgot to post some pics!

I see a fingerprint on your turret (last posted picture)!
Remove it know you still can.

Looks nice, I m not so sure about the weld seams on the turret. They look out of scale, and not uniform enough. American manufactureres of the time were very skilled and quality control was high. May be too late to fix now, but just keep this in mind when you do the next one!

Cheers n Beers!
