this is the Polish improved variant of the T-72 i.e. the PT-91.
The conversion is from Modelkrak and is designed for the Tamiya kit. It depicts the early version of this MBT.
A certain amount of work is necessary to get a good rendition of the original vehicle as Modelkrak seems to have been confused by the various production batches.
I sanded away the turret roof tiles and replaced them by new ones made of plastic card bit (4x4mm) matching the correct pattern.
I added the missing tiles on the hull glacis tooafter of course having removed the extra armor plate of the Tamiya kit.
The skirts are provided by Modelkrak and only require to cut off the first section of the Tamiya ones to be glued on the resin parts.
