Thanks guys!
This truck is a nice kit, but it's only my personal opinion. See the kit is 48 years old, and it shows.
It builds easily, there are almost any fit problems and the structure of the cab, bed and frame is very sturdy.
But then again there are details... or lack of them :-)
I had to scratchbuild roofs frame, canvas then is from tissue paper (this doesent matter only if you want to make it a hard top which is in thr box), also scratched details are:
- 4 T-clamps on hood,
- door handles and towing rings made of brass wire,
- door and hood side panels hinges made of piece of sprue (not working but looking something like the original, the kit ones were just the opposite),
- home casted turn signal lights plus guards for them made of brass sheet,
- 3 handles on the cab made of wire and two more on the tailgate made of brass sheet,
- wire rear view mirrors support
- headlights made of hot pressed clear sheet(tle kit ones were casted in green plastic, (sth like in old tamiya mutt),
- corrected shape of the gas tank and added plastic filler cap,
- wipers cutted of sheet brass.
This is a listing of corrections I can remember right now. These are not too harsh to perform, It just depends if you want to practice some scratchbuilding
I say this again: for me it was great plesure to build this kit, and I think that its only the matter of attitude.
Animal, you have contributrd to this build, and I thank you for that!

Also a big thanks for compliments and for bringing the pics on-line

pfc thanks, glad you like it
Cheers
