Ola People

As a result of the feedback I got on my Furniture I sat behind the PC tonight working out a drawing for the Writing desk I made some weeks ago.
Sadly when I uploaded the pics to the Gallery the 1:35th drawing that I made got scaled down and isn`t really 1:35 anymore. The text is also not that good readable anymore. Would it be possible to make it a downloadable file or maybe there is another way to show it in it`s true size. (It is way more usefull then). Maybe a printable version.
ok here is the pic

And this is the result:

Let me know what you think I have another bunch in my head that are really suitable for these kind of diagrams

Robert - nice job. Great concept, nicely executed.
It looks good and easy to follow.

My personal preference would be to fill in the bead holes on the handles.

Excellent drawing Robert.

I have never scratchbuild anything. Looking at your drawing, I thought, hmm I can do this.

I too, would fill in the beads.

Great idea
Thanks Robert.

Well The drawing is not as good as the Unscaled one. I really don`t understand why the gallery did do that as the normal drawing is not wider then 600 Pixels. But the Drawing could be printed out and then used as a real template.

Jesper Actually scratchbuilding something like this is fairly easy. But don`t use this online drawing as the Dimensions are barely readable and the dimensions aren`t correct anymore too.

To both Scott and Jesper

This was also the feedback I got when I first posted the pics of the furniture itself. I decided to leave this one as it is the first and a lot to be learned. I will take the advice to the next batch of furniture.

I hope I will find a solution for the 1:35 drawing so it can appear in it`s original size. Otherwise I have to send them through E-mail to everyone interested

Robert - I wonder if converting it to a PDF first would solve the gallery problem. Hmm, well it might but then it won't really be able to be posted to the gallery? hmmm... It's time to get creative.

Robert,

like I said last night, this is excellent !!

For the size thing..... don't we have an ftp location somwhere ?? I know we used to have access to some space when we were involved in the Hartenstein Gazet. If not, you can always ask Jim for some new space....

Nice work Faust, scale furniture is a difficult task. As for scaling the drawing I would suggest that you create a PDF of the image. I commend you on your efforts. Minuteman and myself have been colaborating on all kinds of scale furniture for the urban dioramas we are currently working on. I don't know if you saw my post a few weeks ago or not but feel free to have a look. It might give you some ideas. Again great work and if you need a hand let me know be glad to help, or give you some other ideas.

Ola Guys

Thanks your feedback is great.

@Martin
Well As soon as I have finished Danny`s lounge chair I have some more time for more furniture. Have you got some special requests?

@ Costas...
Well sadly the BLOKKEA Corporation didn`t exist yet when the fire accident happened.

@Scott
Probably the PDF thing is the way to go although I would have liked it when the Image just showed up normal sized and ready to print. And I answered your PM

@Roudeleiw
Thanks for the comments mate. I like the fact that you are willing try it. It is fairly easy to do. I don`t know how the Diagram shows up for you and that the dimensions are readable for you as for me the drawing looks small and fuzzy at the dimensions.

@Danny
Thanks for the comments man

@Paul
Thanks for your comments I really like them as colleague furniture maker. I placed a post in your Furniture thread.

@Dave

LOL Well The Fun thing is I had the same thought when I made up the name. But so far the name is just a parody on the exisiting brand. I wanted a name for on the sheet and the BLOKKEA name was the first thing that sprung to mind.

Thanks for the replies guys more will come
