Does anyone have a good source(s) showing the equipment outfitted on WWII forward air control vehicles, especially on jeeps? Also looking for reference on the unforms worn by the FAC and driver (i suspect it's standard GI).

Thanks,

Jeff:
Thanks, I'll take a look at those sites. This is for a future project anyway so I have some time to gather resources. FAC's have always interested me and I haven't seen a conversion or info for a FAC Jeep. Your photo is far as I have gotten. Apparently you have some interst in the same type of project?

Best book I know on FAC jeeps ' s:
" Jeep,jeep,jeep...", by Yasuo Ohtsuka, HOBBY JAPAN Co., 1983, Tokyo, JAPAN
It ' s a picture book about the jeep in WW2, and there ' re some good pictures of FAC jeeps, even one with the full radio complement....A best !
' ve a nice day...!

I'll have to see if I can round that publication up or find another source. In the meantime, I stumbled across a Verlinden command and recon conversion set for the Tamiya jeep. Anyone know if the parts in this kit are germain to a FAC vehicle?

Thanks in advance,

NATE
