Two models from the Revell 1/72 scale SdKfz7 kit. One is almost OOB, the other has a Milicast Bilstein crane fitted.





Both are pretty good kits, although some parts like the guns etc are a bit clumsy compared to more modern efforts. The worst part of the kit - the tracks by a long way - too loose and the joining faces are too thick leading to a step when joined.

Dave, nice builds you've got there. They look good, although the tracks do let them down. The crane looks excellent!

got to agree on that...the crane a little let down..

Thanks for the comments guys. The crane was suposed to be on a truck. It was so badly cast (obviously an old kit as Milicast are nowadays amongst the best) that I had to rebuild the jib and it's supports from sprue & wire.
My 1st "Armorama's Finest" entry is under way, then I'm back on the braille scale stuff for more entries here!
