Just a few pics of the Jagdpanther that I'm finaly finishing after it has been sitting on the shelf for a long time..
Just about done, the final weathering will be done when it goes on the base. The plan is to show it slipped into a stream, trying to reverse back out, at a rather acute angle..
Cheers

Cheers Karl, I suppose I have a steady hand, I airbrush camo freehand, without masks or pencil markings...this one came out quite nice, and I'll leave it just in Olive green.

Henk,
Agree with the others. Very stricking camouflage job! Hoping to see it finished real soon.
Not only one of my favorite vehicles but carries the number of my birth year

Looks very good. What kit is this? 1/35th scale? Are you going to add a figure in the open hatch?

I recognize the feeling in finishing up stuff that's been sitting for a while.
I'm trying to finish off old "Shelf queens" at the rate of one a month for the year. So far so good. I'm 6 for 6 so far.
As for the JP, love that vehicle. sleek, deadly and purposeful looking.
My only suggestion is to paint the inside of the open hatches the same dark yellow as the exterior. The interior white -elfbein ivory- really pops out in the picture!
Imagine how it would show in real life and what a bad thing that would be.
Were you going to mount the tow cables?
Lots of later war pics show them already hooked up to help extract the vehicle under fire.

Thanks for your replies guys, much appreciated. I'm a bit late in responding as I've had to reformat my drive.. .
@ Kevin,
It's the Revell Late Jagdpanther. It's 1:35 and completly OOB, with the only addition the commander figure, which comes from the Tamiya Pzr IV ausf H kit.
@ Mike
Off course I'll paint the insides in Dunkelgelb, it's one of the few things I have to finish yet. I think I might mount the tow cable to the rear eye, and leave it run off the base, to give the impression of a recovery in progress. But I'm still toying with a few ideas for the base.
Cheers
